A Linkin Park

#1

The other day, while I was listening to Robot Boy, I started thinking that perhaps LP could do a concert consisting of only “soft” songs.

I’d totally attend if they only played these songs below, and I’d have a lighter/my phone held high throughout the entire concert, too:

  1. Waiting For The End
  2. Not Alone
  3. Robot Boy
  4. Easier To Run
  5. POWERLESS
  6. Iridescent
  7. CASTLE OF GLASS
  8. Burning In The Skies
  9. Shadow Of The Day
  10. Valentines Day
  11. The Messenger
  12. My December
  13. ROADS UNTRAVELED
  14. Leave Out All The Rest
  15. Hands Held High
  16. In Between
  17. In Pieces
  18. The Little Things Give You Away

Did I miss any songs?

Anyone with me?

EDITED: Hands Held High, In Between, In Pieces and The Little Things Give You Away now also added.

ummm… the little thigs give you away, pushing me away?
good suggestion BTW ^^b

#3

YEAH, good ideia, but you missed In Pieces and In between =)

#4

I would also include Hands Held High. This might actually be a good idea, since most of those aren’t singles.

#5

I think I just forgot half of Minutes to Midnight there. The obvious suggestions have now been added.

I dunno about Pushing Me Away, it’s maybe a bit too up beat?

#6

You forgot She couldn’t  Epic soft HT era song  Blackbirds also would be epic

Piano version of Pushing me Away…Also, they’ll have to do the trio like they did ths tour of LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent

YES YES YES, FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS ME

those songs are like never played right…
while those are the ones i WOULD SO WANT TO HEAR LIVE
like omgoodness

#9

I really like this idea.

She couldn’t?

#11

Oh yes. Those are pretty much all my favourite Linkin Park songs.

No Roads Left is missing, though!

Pushing Me Away (piano) definitely has to be there. They could also play New Divide as a piano version (have you heard the demo, Megatron, in LPTV? “So let it rain down from heights unknown to wash this memory clean. Let it fill up an ocean in your eyes.” sung by Mike - amaaaazing!)
I think Breaking the Habit and Numb would fit in well too, especially the former. Perhaps also Blackout, when thinking of the deep, calm sound of the music, and Mike’s beautiful part in the bridge… ^^

They could open with Wake, and they should fit OPENING and NTR\MSSION in somehow too, as well as The Requiem and Fallout.

Such a concert would be unbelievably incredibly amazing.
No Roads Left, Valentine’s Day, ROADS UNTRAVELED, CASTLE OF GLASS, In Between, Not Alone, Easier to Run and My December are the most important ones. ^^

  • And Waiting for the End and Iridescent, but I’ve heard them live already.

#12

Maybe Linkin Park would put them in consideration? o.o

#13

Yes, but with no roads left and pushing me away (road to revolution version)

#14

Road to Revolution is from 2008. They played Pushing Me Away as a piano version as early as 2006. (:

#15

and “What we dont know” amazing song

#16

Valentines Day  one of my faves!
