A Living Things Tour?

#1

Hey all. I’ve been a long time fan, but a new LPU member.

Does anyone know if LP is going to have a Living Things tour or is the Honda Civic tour the “Living Things” tour? I missed out on the good seats for the Honda Civic tour, so I’m hoping they are going to do a regular tour like they always do when they release a new album. Does anyone know?

maybe a winter arena tour? that would be sick

I looked at the set lists for the Honda Civic tour that were used and it seemed most of the songs that were played weren’t from Living Things. That’s why I kinda think they might be doing a regular tour for it, but I was hoping someone here knew for sure…

The Honda Civic Tour is technically the LIVING THINGS tour. They are using this tour to promote it even though they are only playing like 3 - 4 from it songs per show lol There are definitely going to be more tours during the LIVING THINGS touring cycle. Europe should get one and I think a Winter tour will most likely happen. We just have to wait and see for now I guess.

#5

I’m praying for a winter tour then!

#6

Me too! I’ll have my license by then so I can go to multiple shows. I’m pretty sure that I heard in an interview not too long ago that they might be doing a US Winter tour along with others tours like Europe, etc.

#7

I’m thinking they’ll do another North American tour, since they missed the majority of the US, and seeing the venues they’ve been playing lately, they might even wanna swoop back to Canada and tour a bit more of it fingers crossed

I’d say a tour in the U.S again probably in February, depends on sales I think.

they should definitely just go with a living things tour and play only songs from that album
and then aside maybe a few from the other albums …

i wish they would make the decision to actually play songs they barely play nowa days
aside from the living things album

like for example… the little things give you away… in pieces… robot boy…
i know those are the more calm ones but so what
we LP fans love those songs too right
and just because not everyone in the audience is member of LPU doesnt mean they won’t like or appericiate it

okay so maybe some people don’t because they like the rock style of LP only…
but that cant be enough of a good reason not to play those songs
what about me, what about us
like for real, i know im not just talking for myself here right now
i know for sure many of you guys would also love to hear those songs more often
right?

those songs i mentioned and many more are maybe not as rockish but they are so beautiful
they wrote and produced them for a reason … they love those songs too
so i really dont get why they dont play them or at least not often…

maybe because its hard to play them live… well the heck with that
they can easily make it work with just the guitars and drums
doesnt have to sound exactly like it sounds from the CD

ugh i just want to hear those songs live so bad…

Probably they will play in US again after Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Europe and Asia. [wink]

#11

I just want them to start their tour right after they are done with Honda Civic Tour, but they probably will take a little break before they do so…but this time I’ll be ready to get tickets!!

#12

now with all this talk, i have got to do some more tattoos and save up money because im dying to go again to see them!

#13

When the New Zealand show was announced the title it was given was: Linkin Park - Living Things World Tour: February 21, 2013 - Vector Arena Auckland. So I guess that this means a LIVING THINGS World Tour will be happening.

#14

Really hope so!!!

#15

Yes! Can’t wait!!!

#16

Well I’LL TELL YOU THIS! Im wishing just like you guys that they would come to houston again because Lawd have mercy Jesus the 8/28 concert at the Woodlands was the best concert that I have even attended! I was so honored to see my most favorite band live as well as communicate with Chester from the pit!! Im absolutely stoked for the next time they come and im even considering going to dallas since its not so far from houston which would make two shows that I could attend. That houston show made me even more crazy about them than I already was.

#17

Oooh I hope so! Just not in winter! I missed out on A Thousands Suns tour cuz we had frickin’ snow storm… I had a ticket…there was just no way to get there… Or just please don’t start it on the East Coast!

With the cancellations that happened on the last album tour, I think a north american tour will be coming for this album, Living Things. This doesnt count, its more like the festivals they used to do, including 3 or 4 bands and headlining it. It was a genius tour, bring back Incubus, Linkin Park same time great job, but Living Things will have to have its own tour.

A LIVING THINGS World Tour is already somewhat confirmed. They are definitely returning to North America sometime next year as one of the band members (I think Chester) said in an interview not too long ago that I read that they will be returning to the US next year as well as Europe and other places.
