I was wondering how do you pre-order the album, and its the 16th of Sept. But there is nothing on the LP website?

I would suggest waiting to see if/when the site gets updated, after all in the US it’s still morning!!
I am sure it will be available soon!

box set…very expensive!!!

Haha sorry but that Limited Edition Box Set is pathetic, yeah yeah u “Pay for what u get” (according to Mike) but I would never consider paying 420€ for something like that, I mean the box u get is no bigger than 20cm LOL…

I feel this was a bad move all round making something that they knew only few could afford, basically creating it for an elite circle…

When a band is as famous as LP is u should NEVER be aiming articles at select few (like 500), if it’s gonna cost that much don’t bother making it…

Hope this was a once off thing, cause this is so the wrong direction to take…

I definitely agree, I assumed that box set was only $150-$200. But that’s just way out of my price range at $500.00. Rather spend the money elsewhere. Just gotta make do with the standard edition.

You could buy a nice smartphone for that money… I m not sure if even real collectors with much money would buy it

I buied it, mostly because of the art book, and I like special editions of stuff  !!

I think it’s safe to say that Warner Brothers is behind the high price, but I bought it.

Mike said on Twitter that the $500 price point is roughly comparably to the manufacturing costs. The ferrofluid used in the sculpture is super high-tech stuff. That alone probably added $300 to the cost of the box set.

With that said, there’s no way they’re going to sell all 500 copies at that price. I guarantee it’ll end up on sale at a pretty hefty discounted price within a year, just like the Minutes to Midnight and A Thousand Suns deluxe editions were (and those were only $100 when they originally came out).

Does anybody knows if the Recharge (only the album) will be sold in other countries? Or I can only buy online?
