Most Listened LP Songs (via iTunes)

#1

Hey Everyone!

I’m a crazy LP fan and listen to LP nearly everyday of the year!

So i started looking at my Play Count for Linkin Park (A Thousand Suns especially) and noticed I have listened to Linkin Park a large number of times since I got my Computer back in 2007

As you can see by the Screen shots below I have listened to Wretches and Kings over 6000 times in just over a year of the album being released.

This is all legit (not photoshopped) and I have another play count on my MacBook Air but have not counted for that.

What is everyone else’s most listened to LP song and Album?

Matt!

Holy moly, four digit play counts!? After only slightly longer than a year!? i’m going to punch in the time on the calculator because that just baffles me.

About 160000 minutes total
2788 hours.
116 days.
You’ve spent almost a THIRD OF A YEAR straight listening to ATS
D: How is that possible!

Alas, my iTunes library that I built in 2003-2009 got deleted and i rebooted that library, which is the bulk of when I was listening to all the Hybrid Theory and Meteora songs like an addict. I pretty sure Breaking the Habit was at #1 with 975 listens before that all got reset.

last.fm, which I started in 07, says Wretches and Kings is my most listened to song, ever (that surprises me!). Catalyst in 2nd. All the others are similarly from ATS. It’s not really tracking my iPod listens very well, though. On the other hand, the iPod is where I do all of my ATS listening, so the numbers would be even more skewed.

After ATS is LPU9, and then other LPU’s.

Dude, more power to ya.
Actually every time I’m on a plane I listen to ATS too. ATS is definitely my airplane album. And also the album I go to when I just want to sit down and do nothing but listen.

Though I have a tendency to switch it up with live songs, so my play counts will never be that big.

Yes, ATS sounds great at a higher altitude! But I can listen to HT or Meteora and then 2 days later listen to ATS again and it sounds fresh! its just got a sound to it that no matter how many times I listen to it, It doesn’t get old.

I have all the live shows I have been to Brisbane 2007, 2011 and Sydney 2011 x 2 and ive listened to those songs less then 100 times!

What the … you god damn nerds [lol]
Just kidding. My results would be very low, because I use iTunes since a couple of months and I often had/have to reinstall it, what resets the counter. I hate this, but there’s nothing I can do about it … however, these are my results (last reinstallation about one week ago):
